The unexpected caviar pairing that actually works. Torres black truffle chips — hand-cut Spanish potato crisps infused with real black truffle, designed (accidentally) to hold a spoonful of premium caviar perfectly.
These specific chips are Spanish, kettle-cooked, and use real black truffle aroma rather than synthetic flavouring. Most "truffle chips" in US grocery use plastic-tasting truffle oil. Torres are the genuine article — closer to a thin tartlet than a snack.
For tasting, plan around 14g per person. For a more generous caviar service, plan 28g–56g per person.
Serve chilled, open each tin just before enjoying, and use a pearl spoon for the best tasting experience.
